Resolved:  The motion is rejected as it would preclude genuine charitable organisations and traditional local community activities.

Councillor Oliver proposed that

‘That the PC consider purchasing appropriate signage to remind dog owners to pick up after their dogs at the field end of the snicket on Churchfields.  This may require a freestanding sign if the adjacent householder(s) are not willing to have it attached to their fence.’

Resolved: The motion is approved.  Suitable signage will be purchased subject to the obtaining of permission of the 2 landowners to site signs on their property.

There being no further business the meeting closed at 9.30pm.  The next ordinary meeting of the Parish Council is scheduled for 19 September 2016 at 7.30pm
