New Play Equipment – Village Field Play Area

Tickton & Routh Parish Council is pleased to announce the final development project of 2024.

This project comprised removal of the play unit known as Tom Thumb and replacing it with a range of new inclusive and accessible play equipment.

The parish council thank the children of Tickton Primary School and Tickton Preschool & Play Pals for their excellent choice of play provision for all to enjoy for many years to come.

We have listened to parents and carers too! Additional pushchair and wheelchair accessible benches will be installed on the village field play area soon.

We are grateful to all grant funders for supporting projects that benefit residents in the parish of Tickton and Routh including: – East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Do It For East Yorkshire Community Grant (for further information about the grant please visit www.doitforeastyorkshire.co.uk/#community-grant), Routh Wind Farm Community Fund, Dogger Bank Wind Farm Operator Fund and East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Active Grant.
