Notice of temporary road closure – Carr Lane, Weel – 28 October 2024 to 20 December 2024

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
CARR LANE, WEEL (PART)

Notice is hereby given that The East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Carr Lane, Weel commencing 08:00 hrs Monday 28 October 2024 until 18:00 hrs 20 December 2024 due to excavation in carriageway for the installation of water main.

The Road Closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 20 December 2024.

There is no alternative route for traffic affected by this closure.

The road will remain open for the Emergency Services, Residents access and Pedestrians.
