Notice of temporary road closure – Weel Road, Carr Lane, West Croft, Weel

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
WEEL ROAD, CARR LANE, WEST CROFT & VILLAGE STREET, WEEL

Notice is hereby given that The East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Weel Road, Carr Lane, West Croft & Village Street, Weel commencing Monday 14 October 2024 to Friday 18 October 2024 & Monday 18 November 2024 until Wednesday 27 November 2024 to carry out patching works.

The Road Closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within the given time.

There is no alternative route for traffic affected by this closure (access will be maintained for Beverley HWRC). 

The road will remain open for the Emergency Services, Residents access and Pedestrians.
